Favor Inspiration

Sometimes choosing wedding favors can be daunting and expensive, and it can be tempting to just throw a few sugared almonds into an organza bag and be done with it. But remember, this is your way of thanking your friends and family for sharing your day, and its important to give them a little something that is memorable. This doesn't mean you have to spend a lot. Of course the fewer guests you have the more elaborate the favor can be, but its not about being flashy and costly.
Being creative with your favors can both save you money, and make a lasting impression on your guests. Most importantly, try to tie the gift into your theme, Eg. An autumn wedding is the perfect time for homemade jam.

Some good ideas are:
- home made cookies. You can also put the dry ingredients into a jar with recipe/ instructions.
- Make vintage button brooches for the ladies.
- Send the guests home with a slice of the wedding cake, nicely boxed.
- If you have a signature cocktail, why not see if you can have it bottled. Call your local brewing supply store for tips.
- Have teacups filled by a candle maker. Rose is a lovely lady does just that. Hunt for affordable teacups at charity shops and markets.
-I found some lovely NZ made candles at- Lumino and Ecoya

The first photo is from Etsy and the rest were found at The Knot, a wonderful resource for brides looking for inspiration.
